Falcons "Release Me" Fred Weary Wanted Out of Atlanta

 In a salary cap move, CB Fred Weary was cut by the Falcons today after 5 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Dhani Aldila read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach Dan Reeves was not available for comment.
