Redskins Steve Spurrier Shows Bernard Jackson the Door

 In a salary cap move, RE Bernard Jackson was cut by the Redskins today after 2 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Bryan Mellon read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach Steve Spurrier was not available for comment.
