In a surprise move the Jets broke off contract talks with Jerald Sowell, shortly there after a team press release claimed excessive demands from his agent were to blame. Inside sources report GM Kevin Mullendore said "I'd sooner pay that much to see a squirl eat nuts off of Herman Edwards's ass! Jerald Sowell is done here."
